- 2 to 3 cups cooked diced or shredded chicken
- 6 to 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 (8 ounce) block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 (1 ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- Crust
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- Garlic Butter Topping
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken and crumbled bacon.
- Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning.
- Add about 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Mix everything together until fully combined.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Pinch the seams together to form one even layer.
- Spread the chicken bacon ranch mixture evenly over the crescent dough.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese evenly over the filling.
- Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the top.
- Pinch any seams or tears together as best you can.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Brush the garlic butter over the top crust.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- If the top begins browning too quickly, loosely cover it with aluminum foil for the remainder of the baking time.
- Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
