Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, fresh or slightly frozen
- 1/2 cup water, plus more as needed
- About 1/2 cup Italian dressing, or a little more
- Red pepper seasoning, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
- Garlic, minced
- 1/2 box penne pasta
- 4 oz cream cheese, cut into small cubes
Instructions
- Add chicken breasts to the pressure cooker.
- Pour in 1/2 cup water and Italian dressing.
- Season with red pepper seasoning, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and minced garlic.
- Stir everything around a little.
- Pressure cook on high for 15 minutes.
- Let naturally release for 8 minutes, then release the remaining pressure.
- Remove the lid and shred the chicken.
- Add the penne pasta.
- Make sure there are at least 2 cups of liquid in the pot and that the pasta is covered. Add more water if needed.
- Put the lid back on and pressure cook on high for 3 to 4 minutes. Do not go longer or the noodles can get mushy.
- Quick release the pressure.
- Stir in cream cheese.
- Place the lid back on for a few minutes to help the cream cheese soften.
- Stir until creamy and serve.
