- Garlic powder, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups uncooked elbow pasta
Instructions
- Add the diced onion, diced green bell pepper, and ground beef to a large pot.
- Cook over medium-high heat, breaking up the ground beef as it cooks, until the beef is browned.
- Add the minced garlic.
- Stir and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the beef broth.
- Add the pasta sauce.
- Add the diced tomatoes.
- Add the tomato paste.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Stir everything together.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Add the uncooked elbow pasta.
- Stir well.
- Turn the heat down to medium-low.
- Partially cover the pot.
- Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring every so often so the pasta does not stick.
- If the goulash gets too thick before the pasta is cooked, add a little more beef broth.
- Once the pasta is tender, remove from the heat.
- Spoon into bowls and serve warm.
