- For the Meatballs
- Oil, for sautéing
- 1 whole onion, sliced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 12 ounce bag frozen Italian style meatballs
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1 packet French onion dip mix
- Garlic and olive oil seasoning, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- For the Sliders
- Hawaiian rolls
- Swiss or provolone cheese
- Melted butter
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
Instructions
- Turn the pressure cooker to sauté.
- Add a little oil to the pot.
- Add sliced onion.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Sauté for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the onions are softened to your liking.
- Add the frozen Italian style meatballs.
- Add butter, French onion dip mix, garlic and olive oil seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and beef stock.
- Stir everything together.
- Put the pressure cooker lid on.
- Pressure cook on high for 5 minutes.
- Do a quick release.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls into a baking pan.
- Add one meatball and some onions onto each roll.
- Top with Swiss or provolone cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
- Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Brush the seasoned butter over the tops of the rolls.
- Air fry or bake at 350°F for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Serve warm.
- If desired, save some of the French onion sauce for dipping.
