Puerto Rican Inspired Recipes From My Kitchen
These are the flavors I grew up loving. Sofrito, sazón, adobo, that smell hitting the whole house before dinner is even ready. If you want to bring a little Puerto Rican flavor to your table, start right here.
Every recipe is one I actually make, with real photos from my kitchen. Pro tip: make the sofrito first, because it shows up in almost everything else.
1. Homemade Puerto Rican Sofrito

The flavor base of it all. Peppers, onion, a whole head of garlic and cilantro blended up fresh. Freeze it in ice cube trays and thank me later.
2. Puerto Rican Rice

Fluffy, seasoned and packed with sofrito, sazón and adobo. This is the side dish that goes with literally everything.
3. Puerto Rican-Inspired Pressure Cooker Chicken and Rice

All that flavor in one pot with way less babysitting. Tender chicken, seasoned rice and dinner is DONE.
4. Puerto Rican Rellenos de Papa

Crispy potato balls stuffed with seasoned ground beef and sofrito, dunked in garlic mayo ketchup. Make extra because they disappear fast.
